The Ration Shop

The day before we left the UK and travelled to Cuba I did an online Tesco delivery order to arrive on my doorstep the day after we returned home.

On day three of our journey we saw this. A Ration Shop. All Cubans have a Ration Book with coupons for: Rice, flour, sugar, oil, bread and little else. Sparse?

Are you going to tell us a little more about Cuba? That was an interesting website you directed us to. Thanks.

Yes I am Kat. There is so much to say that I have to sort my thoughts out first.

I am a capitalist and with a social concious and ironically spent my birthday in Cuba visiting Che's Mausaleum and the Museum dedicated to him. Morty found this very funny and wants to get me a T/Shirt with Maggie on the back wielding her handbag and Che on the front!

I always mean to get organised. A delivery the day after you are due home is such a good idea .... in case of flight delays and stuff ...
